Crud - I got off work too late to make it. Sorry about that. In the future, I think I'll have to plan on either Game Haven at 7 or I'll have to leave work 1/2 hour earlier than normal in order to make it to Mind Games. Saturdays would work better in general for me as well. Doesn't look like I'll be able to make it this Tuesday either. Hopefully sometime soon though!

Game Haven in West Jordan doesn't have anything outside of the normal on their calendar for then so that might work for them.

At the regional competition, I believe we did 3 games of 100 point squads in 3 1/2 hours, which included set up and take down time for each game. I'd say we either stick with the standard 100 points / 60 min, or if some people don't feel they have enough ships for that, we could play in 2v2 or 2v1 100 point teams. I'm more than happy to organize this, but I'd like to know what everybody else wants to do - then I can communicate with Game Haven to schedule it and see what they're willing to let us do. It sounded like they wouldn't mind it at all if we'd play there and promote the game a little bit. I can probably even make a sign to post on the board in the store so that maybe some of their other customers get interested.

Well, only my wife and I showed up, but we still had a good time playing. The store was more than happy to let us play and said that we were definitely welcome to come back. If at least 2 other people say they want to play on Sat Sept 21st at noon, then I'll post a sign in the store as well.
