There is no link back to the root forum at the bottom of the page. Normally my reading pattern is: 1) Open thread 2) scroll to bottom of each page while reading thread 3) click link at bottom of page at end of thread back to gen boards list.

This is no longer possible, requiring me to scroll all the way back up to the top of the thread. Small annoyance, but I thought i'd share it for no reason. Its not a big deal on 1 page threads cuz i can just hit the back button, but on multi page threads its a bit of a bummer. /nerdproblems

Use the "Next unread topic." It's even faster than going to the gen boards list.

also for some reason on my phone i can see who made the last reply to a thread, but this doesnt show up on my pc (chrome). is this a setting that i can change?

Interestingly it shows up on Chrome when you aren't logged into the forums, but once you log in it dissapears...

The bottom of my page has a hyperlink back to the subforum (general discussion) -- I guess you want one level above that?

Also, on my iPhone and using safari, I can see who made the most recent post only if I am not logged in. Once I log in, that info disappears

Oh man... Sneaky sneaky. I remember seeing this goofy foot-pedal for gaming that would minimize gaming windows if you want to way overkill this, hehehe. I'm sure you could rig it to minimize IE or Firefox or whatever.
