I am running the game during the Old Republic, so AltU only in as much as any campaign is.The biggest change is that my party, Bounty Hunters, are trying to get into the Great Hunt (for those unaware of the Old Republic MMO Bounty Hunter plotline, this is a Mandalorian tradition to find the best hunter(s). But then the winner of the great hunt in the MMO is the player character so is it a change?

I also have a Con game also in the Old Republic where the group are escaping from a space station on the edge of Hutt space which was invaded by Mercs and battle droids after a Datacron in the posession of a treasure hunter.

The "Hunter" won THAT year, but the following year will most certainly need a winner, eh?

I wonder where Jar-Jar (Senator Binks) is at the time of ANH. My PC Assassin needs a target...

Several years ago I ran a D20 SW game in which Jar-Jar's entire planet was vaporized by the Death Star. It was one of those times that the players all cheered.

I approve of this universe sooooo much.

Anytime I run Star Wars I consider it an alternative universe.

The last campaign I rewrote the prequels, but before that I just used to say to my players "it's about a year or so before A New Hope and your actions could alter the storyline."

The last campaign ended with the party killing Vader (complete with heroic PC death), helping the Rebels blow up the partly constructed first Death Star and starting their own version of the Jedi Order.
