Ahsoka Tano for their Stories? Be honest you!!! As you can see i am messing around with the idea. Used a sketch i did of her during my idea of what she would look like during the dark times.

Ahsoka might turn up in Star Wars Rebels, since now have a reason for her possibly not being subjected to Order 66. If I were to use her, perhaps she would be a freelance investigator or troubleshooter in the Outer Rim, but I think I'll wait til Rebels to see how she would adapt to the Dark Times.

I suspect that Ahsoka most likely died. Could explain why we don't hear about her in the movies... Too painful for Anakin to talk about. This could be one more reason Anakin descends into the dark side. Especially if she died a pointless or needless death. Just conjecture on my part, however.

I probably won't use Ashoka, unless I need to put the force sensitive assassin down - or give her guidance. Still, I prefer to use my own recurring npcs and creations. Having her appear in a one off, then being chased off by some imperial troops and perhaps an inquisitor ... yes, put the fear in my players.

As for her being in Rebels, we'll see, I'd think that we would see Leia, Bail and people like that, plus a new cast of unknowns or (currently) not so obvious choices. Seeing her sort of breaks with what we know, but she could appear in some episodes I guess, but I'd hold back on her if I were Filoni I don't think she (needs to be) dead, just her leaving the order will have a strong impact on Anakin - that whiny can't-handle-change-personality disorder archetype that he is. And then her dropping off the grid and disappearing, the Emperor certainly make sure Vader thinks she's dead - like with Amidala (the poor gullible fool!!! even if that was partly true) - and wham!

I'm planning on using her at some point, but it would have to fit the story very well. She'd be hiding from her former master and his "new friends"

Or you could click it, see that it is something you could care less about, and then ignore it from then on. This may have been an annoyance in the earlier version of these forums as it could take time for a topic to load, if at all. Now though, things seem to be running smooth, so if you see something that doesn't interest you, then move on and leave it for the people that it does interest.

I won't use her initially. Also want to see if/when she pops up again in other material. In general I'm going to avoid big characters from the known canon although with that said I would be open to maybe utilizing some of the supporting characters like IG-88 if it would make for a fun session.

I am not touching anything that is not expressly shown as canon in this era. They have not explained why she was not in Episde 3. The true answer is the character was created after the fact for the series (between 2 and 3), but they still need to explain her fate. I will not touch anything in the grey areas in my campaign.

I'm sort of with BrashFink here. I could decide to use a female, Togruta force sensitive (possible former Jedi), which could be misinterpreted as a cameo, but I doubt I'd name her Ahsoka Tano ... although an anagram of that is not out of the question. I mean, luckily for me my players are not EU buffs, and only the Lady has seen any Clone Wars (and usually yawned and went elsewhere when I put it on), so she could notice... other than that, it makes no difference really.

Nah, if she escaped Order 66 (:sillyness: why did GM Chris and Dave kidnap her in the first place!? ) then she deserves to remain off my game table . . . It's no place for a high profile EU character on the run. I'd just murder the poor lass as a plot device or my players would try to shoe-horn her into a smuggling compartment on their ship so that she could turn them all into Jedi (thus leading me to the first part of that statement of possibilities).

I'm likely to not include any major characters from the setting in my games, since I don't want to overshadow my players.

@Drathen - that sort of attitude is one that's likely to get you a warning from the mods, so I'd suggest not talking to other people like that in future.

Mouthymerc and MILLANDSON. You are right. I do apologize for my comment. I should not stoop to ones level. Kinda hard sometimes when someone just comes in and tries to assert themselves for no reason when im just trying to have fun on the thread. Sorry guys.
