I am not sure if anyone else has noticed this already, but the new tactics event card "Gondorian Discipline" from Encounter at Amon Din has the trait "Gondor." I briefly looked over all other event cards released until now and I couldn't find a single event that has a trait (except for Durin's Song which has the "song" trait, that is).

Is this something FFG is going to develop with newer event cards? I wonder if this hints at future synergy among events which have matching traits with your heroes or heroes with special abilities (e.g. reduce the cost of event cards with the "Gondor" trait by 1)?

I just thought it was really strange to see a race-specific trait on an event card since this has never been done before (unless I am mistaken).

Thoughts?

without going through all the cards i cannot think of any others. i hope new synergies come of it, things like gondorian discipline are really (obviously) meant for certain decks....such as a gondorian 'army' deck

it would be nice to see these decks get the added help of the trait

Only relevent card I could think of is Eagles are Comming event card that came with Hunt for Gollum, which allowed us to search top 5 of player's deck for Eagle card and add to their hands. The event cards themselvse had Eagle trait and could draw another copy of itself.

Oh, I forgot about that eagles event. Well, I hope to see more Gondor synergy as this is the first event with the Gondor trait.

event specific though..i.e. where there would be a trait on a hero say, there would be on an event card

He means "how many existing EVENT cards have a Trait?" As already mentioned, I can only think of Durin's Song and The Eagles Are Coming! offhand.

Agreed - I've just searched the card database (on OCTGN) and those are the only 3 event cards with a trait.
