Talent Tree Handouts ...

By DylanRPG, in Star Wars: Edge of the Empire RPG

I know there's another topic asking for this, and I also believe there's another poster working on it, but I wanted to share what I came up with ... I had the notes for the latest Beta update in front of me, and I had three players.

So I made them these Talent Trees (according to the classes they picked) that you can print out. I may make more if people like them. I haven't seen the other project, and I have a feeling my own attempt may not be up to snuff.

But please let me know what you think, and if this is something I should pursue. I know it doesn't hurt to have two different versions of a resource to choose from.

decent work there. this is definitely something I'd love to include in each of my PC's folios if anything for quick reference.

Very useful, thanks for the work.

nice pdf sheets.

The GADGETEER TALENT TREE has "Assassin Bonus Career Skills" instead of "Gadgeteer Bonus Career Skills".

Thanks for the correction LukeZZ, it's been edited. :)

Maybe I will continue this project and do all the Talent Trees.

I envision it as something the player can have next to their character sheets, sort of the equivalent of a level up screen in a video game, keeping check marks on the Talents they've taken, and planning ahead.

I've already made them, up to date for the final round of the Beta. I plan to update for the final version of the rules, once my book arrives.

See my signature if you're interested - not that I have a problem with you doing this as well - the more options the better I say. Just trying to save you the time and effort if mine will meet your needs.

:)

I just checked yours out Gribble, I love what you did. Very clever presenting the Talents as a quick reference chart with the explanations underneath, and it looks like you preserved the color coding as well.

I will most likely use yours, they seem very useful indeed :)

My only (very, very slight) wish would be for little check boxes on each Talent, as I like the idea of an inherent system to track what you've chosen. But there's space enough in your Talent trees to write in a mark or something and it's no big deal.

Actually, someone on the Beta forums made the same suggestion, and I'll be updating to add that when I finally get my book and update the sheets - so "wish granted".

:)

Can't wait to get updates to your reference docs, Grib. I consider them the best player-made resource available for this game.
