Sorry for the newb question but still a lil lost regarding the process of character creation. Can someone break this down for me in the most basic terms so I can better understand it. I am having issues with the talent tree. Like what my options are regarding what path i need to follow down the tree. Liker is it possible foe me for example to go to the assassin tree and go to lethal blows/jump up then goto the left and grab quick strike then go down to lethal blows again??? just a lil lost on how to spend points really... and if im human, i can start with 2 non career skills of their choice. So can get anything i want in any career?

Yes and yes. The talents are allowed like that.

As above, but honestly, at character creation, it is generally best to dump your points into attributes, as you have very limited chances to increase them later. You can always increase skills and talents later.

Yes and yes, as others have pointed out. The specific page reference is 30, Acquiring Talents. You can purchase any of the 5XP talents. From there, you can only purchase a talent directly connected to one you already have, by the lines in each tree.

To continue your example, you took Lethal Blows, Jump UP, Quick Strike, and Lethal Blows again. You could not pick up Anatomy Lessons, even though it's adjacent to Lethal Blows, since you need Quick Draw first (follows the lines).

You can acquire any talent that is connected to one you already have. Since you already have Quick Strike, you can purchase Quick Draw.

You only ever acquire a talent once at any one "place" on the talent tree. It's not like a board game where you are on a certain "square" or whatever and need to "back track." The talents you acquire are yours. Per page 30 that I told you about in my prior post, you can acquire any 5XP talent, or any talent "…that is directly connected to an already acquired talent."

Quick Draw is directly connected to an already acquired talent, so it's an eligible talent.
