Just curious if there are any X-wing players in the Northern Illinois area? I have found a few on another site. BoardGameGeek, and One guy I have already met-up with and played a game.

I'm in De Kalb, and in town there is a shop called New Game In Town. The shop has free gaming tables for people to play on.

Western Chicago suburbs here. I am interested in possibly playing. I haven't had expirience playing with anyone other than friends and family since i jumped into the game a few months back. I live about 45 minute away. The only thing is im in high school so there are obvious parental concerns with me meeting random strangers over the internet (no offense). But seeing as this is through the FFG site, it's probably more legitemate. Anyway i'll talk it up with my parents and let you know how it goes.

Sounds good, man. I already met and played some games with someone from another board. I do understand your folks point of view though. Even if they say no, atleast there are more folks in Illinois out there. I almost gave up hope for this state, lol.
