Hello fellow cyberpunk runners!
A quick rule clarification.. If i have installed a parasite with 2 counters on a tollbooth and start a run on it's server while having a datasucker with, let's say, 3 counters on it, what happens if i use the datasucker to lower it's strength value to 0?
If i get this correctly, according to the timing structure of a run on page 33 of the rulebook, the runner approaches the tollbooth and as stated at 2.3 the paid ability of the datasucker takes place. So the runner doesn't need to pay because the tollbooth gets destroyed before the encounter actually happens.. is this correct?

No. Datasucker lowers the strength of the ice currently encountered , so you'd use its ability in step 3.1, at which point the on-encounter ability of Tollbooth will have already executed.
