Star Wars in Tokyo?

I'm heading to Tokyo, Japan July 17-August 20 and would be interested in seeing if there was anyone who played or who were stationed there during this time who might want to meet up for a game.

I would, but I'm down in Kyoto - a fair distance away. You may want to check JIGG (japan international gaming group) There's probably a tokyo area chapter, and maybe some players there, I think you can find their group most easily via BoardGameGeek

I would second the advice given above about contacting JIGG Tokyo. I am a member of JIGG Kansai, and I know for a fact that they have a pretty good sized gaming group in the Tokyo branch. I'm sure a handful of them play the Star Wars LCG.

Thanks! I plan to bring my cards and see what happens... I'm a bit intimidated to join an establish group without having a contact in it first (sort of like Fight Club).

Well, I am in Japan now... I have asked JIGG on their boards to guide me to a place where I might find some product... no response yet. If I find some, I'll buy what I can and let you guys know... I am going to go to Akihabara and check things out... and I'll go to Shinjuku and Kichijoji as well... these are all within a 30-40 minute train ride for me... I'll keep you all posted.

**Edit**. I have been informed that they primarily use their Facebook group to communicate with each other. The other boards are somewhat dead these days.

Thanks, Butamann551. So far, I have had no direct responses to my hails... and I can't find their FB group link (or find it as a search). So, I will bide my time.
