I was just wondering if the adventure that comes with the GM kit is a sequel to the adventure in the core book or ifs a stand alone adventure.

A stand alone one
It does leave a little bit of a connection, however; in it, the PC's work for a Hutt who's been dealing with the Hutt from the one in the book.
