I'm having trouble finding rules info for the Kingdom Location cards and Epic Battle events cards. Is there somewhere on the fantasy flight site that goes into more detail about these cards? Sorry to post here, but it's frustrating using the forums search engine since it brings up every game forum on here. thanks
Kingdom Locations and Epic Battle Events
There are no special rules for these cards. So don't feel bad that you can't find anything. It's not there to be found!
Are there specific things you want to know about Kingdom locations or Epic Battle events? That might be the easiest thing. The long and short of them are:
- Kingdom locations are simply locations with the "Kingdom" trait. There are no special rules beyond the text on the locations and/or the text of cards that specify or interact with the "Kingdom" trait. To this point, all locations with the "Kingdom" trait also have all 6 House affiliations, making them count equally as Stark, Lannister, Baratheon, Greyjoy, Targaryen and Martell locations.
- Epic Battle events are simply event cards with the "Epic Battle" trait. There are no special rules beyond the text of the events. To this point, all Epic Battle event cards create an 8th game phase called the "Epic Phase" between Dominance and Standing. What you can do in this Epic Phase is written on the event card that creates it.
That's about it unless there are specific things about the cards that aren't making sense to you.
You are awesome! Yeah I was mostly curious about whether you can have 3 copies of each card (kingdom and epic battles) in your deck or if they were a one per deck card since you only get one of each in the chapter packs.
you can always have up to 3 of each card in a deck.
chapter pack contents have no affect on the deckbuilding rule, it is just how FFG decided to package those particular cards.

This might be misleading. The general rule of thumb is you may always have 3 copies of a card in each deck. But there are some cards that have a special gametext saying that they are only allowed once per deck e.g. Streets of steel from the Core set.
However there are only few of these cards.
