When using the Yuri enhance, will you only get a damage boost if you have more than your printed vitality (using Yuri's ability obviously)?

Nope.

If you're at less than your max, it will give it a pump as well. While in mathematics the term "difference" indicates subtraction (current - max), in UFS it's just an absolute value - if you'renot at your max, the amount that you're over or under the max is your answer.

Nice, I thought since 'your current vitality' came before 'printed vitality' it had to be subtracted in that order.
I love you chaos flare :)

when did it change to this, for the longest time we've been playing it the english way

"Difference" means "distance between two values" in effect, so you're looking at |Current - printed|. It's an absolute value.

So basically if I'm at, let's say 6 vitality and I use this enhance I'm giving my attack -18 damage (6-24=-18)?

absolute value so I6-24I=18

The bonus this card gives will always result in a positive. The least it can give is 0
