Hello everyone; I'm quite excited about getting my copy of Descent which should come in tomorrow; I've been reading the rules PDF, reading the forums both here and on Board Game Geek, and watched the videos that WatchItPlayed posted of the game on YouTube. However, equipment has me a little confused, and I can't seem to find the answers to my questions anywhere:

1) How do you indicate which pieces of equipment are equipped and which are not?

2) Is there any way for the heroes to change out their equipment mid-encounter?

According to the rulebook, equipment which is not equipped should be turned face down, I believe. In practice, any method of separating equipped items from unequipped ones will work, so just do what your group prefers.
