Printable Specialization Tree

By Farsox, in Star Wars: Edge of the Empire RPG

Thank you for this!

Keep up the good work! Can't wait to have them all!

Hired Gun specializations have been added.

You should put the link to the sheet in your signature. Makes it easier to find.

I intend to do so. It was my plan to wait until I finished all of the trees, but I don't have a problem doing it sooner.

Thank you!!!!!!

Just wondering how this is going. I appreciate the work everyone is doing, but these are my favorite in terms of look of all the folks who are doing talent trees, so I'm hoping they all get completed eventually.

Thanks!

Really awesome work you did there, keep it up :D

HUGE thanks, FarSox. These printable are exactly what I was looking for. Great format, easy-to-read, very clear... awesome work.

Thanks for your work on these trees, FarSox, they look fantastic! Any plans on continuing with them, and updating any changes to match the Core Rulebook?

These are great . I thank you and my son thanks you.

Hey everyone. I apologize for falling off the face of the planet. I got a new job back in September that required moving to a new state, and I have been frantically trying to learn the ropes for the past six months. Plus, my son learned to walk. Needless to say, I've been a little off kilter with my free time.

I really am going to try to update/finish these sometime in the near future. Progress just comes a little slower these days.

Fill the niche that nobody seems to have jumped on yet and do the Age of Rebellion trees. . . .

That would be difficult, because I don't own the Beta book; however, I do know a guy that does, so I'll see what I can swing.

Ace career trees added for Age of Rebellion (both in color and B&W). I haven't had a chance to proofread them, yet, so please feel free to point out mistakes and I will make the appropriate corrections.

Well, I don't have my AoR book with me, so I cant check for accuracy of material - but at quick glance for spell-checking and whatnot, it looks pretty clean. I didn't catch anything outstanding in the edit.

I've enjoyed using your survivalist tree, thanks for doing this.

This thread may be long dead, but I was sad to discover you didn't make it to Force Sensitive Exile. Any chance you might make more of these?

Given that the user hasn't posted since Oct. '15, I doubt they'll ever even see this. Probably should have tried sending the OP a PM instead of resurrecting this zombie thread.

No kidding. Thank goodness I haven't had an urge to buy any of the new specs in Special Mods, or I'd be screwed.

With beggingforxp and OggDude going dark for Special Modification it makes you wonder who/what will take over if both are not just "temporary".

I hit up Fanggrip, he said his group had moved to another system and he hasn't had the time to continue updating his excellent Talents sheets. I volunteered to help, but he described the process as pretty difficult and he's not sure he can really teach someone how to do it.

So that leaves us with an open wound for Talent sheets! Which Chosen One will pick up the mantle and bring balance to our character sheets?

Special Mods has a ton of stuff that needs considerable changes to OggDude's character editor. I'm sure he'll get around to it eventually, but this update is trickier than most.

Even a simple talent that adds to your cyberware looks like it would be tricky to implement.

Yeah, and he’s currently pretty deeply involved in a significant restructuring of the program for reasons that are unrelated to that book, so it might take even longer than usual.

TBH, the best solution I found in this space was a guy who had a program that would generate the sheets based on input files. The problems I had with it were that it was written in Java, and didn’t handle color. I couldn’t help with either of those issues, although I could help with translations and filling in new input files for new specializations.

I do think that doing this process programmatically is the right way to handle it, but I also know that doing so is beyond my ability to develop.

I love Michael Willsons pdf's from Begging for XP mostly because I can view them on my phone/tablet
