Hi again, something just struck me with the bane rune.

It has the blast 1 for two surges, so if you have 4 surges does that give blast two or does it give blast one two times? thereby actually dealing more damage to surrounding targets than the "struck" model.

Also is it legal to target an empty space?

and since the faq is gone is anybody abel to tel me wethere or not a "dark charm"'ed hero is forced to convert surges to damage, and use special abilities?

When a hero is dark charmed, the overlord has access to all that characters abilities/surges/etc., but if I'm not mistaken (and it's been a while since I played, so it's not out of the realm of possiblity) the OL can't make the hero spend fatigue. I am sure that the OL can convert surges to damage and use weapon special properties such as web/knockback/etc. though.

Isn't bane rune the rune that hurts monsters around you in a 3 square radius ?! (which feels awesomely wierd when used dark charm on...)

What FastLane said. When you get an ability with ranks twice, you add the ranks. A single figure is never struck more than once by a single attack. All attacks technically target a space, and that space is allowed to be empty.

Dark Charm lets the overlord spend surges and power enhancements however he wants, but he can't spend your fatigue.
