And the cost is for having the option, not for using it, so is less dependent on situational modifiers.
I agree. The cost could be tied to having the option as opposed to using it, thereby letting the bad feat cards see use as well (now that I paid for it, I might as well use it). But again, invariably feats will be a boon to the heroes. Now you just gave them the option to "buy" an option
Indeed. However, the price is giving the OL an option (and get him closer to getting through his deck).
Trialled it today but it was partially skewed by the OL getting Evil Genius out on turn 3 and drawing 2 of the slowest levels. So teh heroes just couldn;t afford to give the OL too many options. So less Feats than ever were used, despite giving the heroes options for 1-4 feats (up to one each) per glyph and on starting the dungeon.
The OL got through his deck too by just about the total amount of feats 'drawn'...
