I have some basic questions again.

They are regarding "The Player Action Window" in FAQ.

The chart (FAQ v.4.0, page19) is incomplete, right?

Q.1.) Regarding "Step 2. Save/cancel responses".

Shouldn't there be "Steps I to IV" following it?

Q.2.) Regarding "Steps I to IV".

Shouldn't there be "Steps V: responses"?

Q.3.) (This is not about the chart.)

So, any and all actions/ responses (Including save/cancel) / passive abilities, are followed by Step I to IV ( to V?), right?

(Except Framework Actions at the "end of phase" do not have responses (Including save/cancel) windows.)

The reason for these answers is basically all the same; you won't trigger any passives at all until step 4, and any non-save/cancel responses until Step 5. In other words you take the action, resolve it, then resolve all passives (and all passives responding to passives), THEN respond with all responses (not save/cancel), passives triggering off responses, and responses triggering off responses.

That's why there's no opportunity for any passive to trigger directly after steps 1 or 2, or any responses to trigger of 1-3 (I-IV).

**This is mostly by convention, and (I believe) by a line on p16 of the FAQ. I believe the flow charts *should* have a "step I-III" for each save/cancel response.
