How did Edge of the Empire wind up being played in a movie theater… in a church owned by Ani DiFranco? A coworker suggested roleplaying qualified as improvisational theater and that I should register a game in Buffalo’s Infringement Festival (http://infringebuffalo.org/). I finally took her up on the advice. The registration form asked what my ideal venue would be. How cool would it be to play Star Wars in a movie theater?
The next thing I know, the Infringement Festival staff is calling me up asking if the Hallwalls Theater in Babeville, Downtown Buffalo would be all right. So, 7/28/13 at 2pm Garrett Crowe will run his draft of Star Wars Episode 7 using the Edge of the Empire system at Hallwalls. There is free admission and even a costume contest. Dust off your stormtrooper armor and prepare to roll those funny looking dice.
