Even if it looks cheesy. Actually it reminds me of the Heavy Metal movie. It is an
And Still Better Than the prequel Trilogy…
Fun cartoon! If it does get yanked, it can be found as an easter egg in the special features of the blu-ray, as well. ![]()
The cartoon isn't great, but it is worth watching, which is more than I can say for the rest of the Star Wars Holiday Special ![]()
That was a couple days ago when I watched that in the living room....
From that, to Empire, which wasn't anymore, to a total wuss bag showing in RotJ, to Jango and the PTs, and now there will be a stand alone film it seems likely. Quite the slow climb for the actual material to match the fandom.
THANKS!!!
This short reminded me of the excellent movie "Rock & Rule". Probably some of the same peeps working it.

Friends don't let friends watch the Holiday Special. It's very much for completionists only.
But the Fett film is fairly fab.
If you want to really rock to some Fett action though, check this AWESOME music video (naughty words in lyrics, may offend squares) -
He's Boba Fett!
He holds the distinction of being the Star Wars franchise character with the most merchandise per second of screen time. Not bad for what Lucas considered a throwaway character.

Literally, as it turned out! ![]()
LIES! Clearly the best part of the Holiday Special is the Oculus Wookiee Porn!
The reason why the Boba Fett cartoon reminds you guys of Rock & Rule and Heavy Metal is because, IIRC, all three were animated or produced by Canadian animation juggernaut Nelvana. Their early works and influence are all pretty noticeable and amusingly highly well known, even though you've probably never heard of the company.
even though you've probably never heard of the company.
Oh, you mean the company that did Eek! the Cat, Inspector Gadget (after DIC gave it up) Care Bears, Tintin, The Terrible Thunderlizards, Droids, The Magic School Bus, Ewoks, Fievel's American Tails (the series, not the movie). Madballs, My Pet Monster. and did pre-production work on an animated Doctor Who before the BBC changed it's mind?
Naw, never heard of 'em.
Edited by DesslokThere's even an in-universe alien species named after that company!
