Wave 3 fan made dials

By Raviael, in X-Wing

EDIT: Sorry for misleading, guys. They are FAN MADE dials..

B-wing dial is fine, worst in whole game but that's good in my opinion. Thanks to that B-wing won't be so obvious choice and won't kick off Y-wing from the game. I think it compensates barrel roll and 3 attack value and B-wing will be balanced - not too cheap, not too expensive for his capabilities.

Bomber has far more better maneuvers than B-wing, but we need to remember that despite being bomber it is still TIE variation. It's dial is very simillar to Y-wing (the difference is that Y-wing has 4-speed straight red maneuver and it's 1-speed banks are white). As with B-wing's I think the dial is ok and keeps TIE Bomber balanced.

And again, they are fan made, but I think that they can be close to those made by FFG.

What do you think? :D

PS: Sorry for mistakes. This isn't my native language.

I actually think the B-Wing dial is a very GOOD dial, far from being the worst in the game. A 1 speed hard turn is a huge advantage, so is having a green bank. It doesn't have a lot of speed, but it is very maneuverable the way you have it here, more so than an X-Wing even if you don't account for the barrel-roll. Make the hard 1 turns red, add a green 1 straight, and make the 1 banks white. This would still allow decent maneuverability on demand, account for reports of the cockpit being prone to jams during hard turns, but make it so that the B-Wing couldn't do major turns consecutively. You can do a lot more than a Y-Wing or even an X-Wing (especially with a hard 1 and barrel rolls available), you just can't do it turn after turn.

For that matter, you could add 3 speed hard turns, but make hard turns at all speeds red, and make the 3 banks and 4 straight white. That would go even further accounting for the jam-prone cockpits and difficulty controlling the ship, but not cripple the B-Wing since it can bank and barrel-roll freely.

The TIE Bomber looks spot on.

But I guess we will find out in a month or so either way. :-)

After looking again at B-wing's dial and comparing it to Y-wing's and X-wing's.. you're right. It may be slow, but white 1-speed hard turns and green 1-speed banks are too advantageous. Like your changes and agree with them.

Well, we know the B-wing can do a green forward 1 from this picture:

I'm hoping FFG will reveal the dials before the Wave releases. That will go a long way toward squad building if we know how they're going to fly.

I am guessing here, but I think that the B-Wing will be manuverable, but slow.

I would say

1 Straight Green

1 Soft white R and L

2 Straight Green

2 Hard White R and L

3 Straight White

3 Soft White R and L

3 Hard White R and L

3 Korrigan RED

and that will be it.

With barrel roll and potential upgrades and pilot skills it suits the heavy gunboat feel that is more manuverable than a y-wing, but not as much as an X-wing.

My 2 cents
