Compared to season 1 I'm not sure i like about season 2 kit. I like to cards but all but I don't think it's goin to be as popular. Cause with season 1 the main prize card was a crypsis people want 3 so they will keep playing in the tournaments to get them same with the credit tokens. I think everyone has a pile of millange mining corp. now for season 2 you get 1 alt art Kate and your done. Same with the playmat.

I'd've like to have a shop that sold the kits so I didn't have to wait for Print on Demand.

The retailers aren't supposed to sell the op/game night kits as per the rules of FFG. They are supposed to help the stores build up a core group for the game. If they sold them directly to the players there would be no insentive to play at the stores and build a community. Personally I think it's better this way, it's easier to find people to play against if I know the store has the game night kit. It usually means that they are dedicated to building a player base and that they will continue to order the new products in that line.

I think this kit is way better because it comes with a playmat. Playmats are very popular and a much better prize for winning the whole thing.

Are you forgetting the Scorched Earth alt art cards?... Even if you don't use it in your corp deck, this is some beautiful art.

I'm happy to get another few copies of Scorched Earth. I finally have three copies and now I have some extra copies to use in multiple decks. And I like this playmat a lot.
