X-Wing Regionals in Georgia this Saturday (06/15/13)

This is probably short notice, but I just found out about this myself. There will be a Regional Tourney this Saturday at Raven's Nest Games in Marietta, Georgia. From there website: X-Wing 2013 Regionals

DescriptionEvent starting time will be 1pm. Entry is 20$ First 16 Players who sign up will recieve Custom Regionals X-Wing patches. There will be Exclusive custom Focus markers for the top 8 players. There will be a Custom Regional X-Wing Black velvet pouch with mystery large card given out to 1st and 2nd Place. 1st Place will receive a X-Wing Regional Championship Glass Trophy, FFG Worlds Championship Entry Ticket, and and if 16 or more players also 40$ store cash. Again, sorry about he short notice, hopefully some folks can make it.

If I would have known earlier I would totally go! When do you guys play up there? Are there any expansions available for sale?

Red, I'm not sure what, if anything they have for sale. They do not have a regular night. I found out about this through a Facebook group called "North Georgia X-Wing Minis". The only regular group I'm aware of in the Greater ATL area is at Titan Comics- Smyrna (http://www.meetup.com/Titan-Smyrna-Gaming/events/116873682/). I am trying to get a regular group started in the Gwinnett area, maybe at The Gaming Pit or Tower Game Center, if you are interested.

Myself and my cousin will be driving down from TN for the event. Looking forward to it. Hope to see a good turn out.

I'd be interested, but I'm not in Atlanta for long. Only until the summer ends. I've seen people play the game at Gigabyte's. Let me know how the regional goes tomorrow. I don't mind driving to the Tower Game Center for X-Wing. I don't know if many people play it there.
