Just put up a couple of blog posts with mechanical tips. The big one is curing the big ship wobble. On close inspection, I've found that the pegs don't seat completely down into the base! Whittling a slight bevel onto the bottom 1/16" of the outside rim of the peg, and then filing it smooth, gives a nice snug fit. That and always using number or blue target lock tokens in the slots to shore up the fore and aft supports makes a big difference! Also includes notes on repairing fractured pegs and weighting small bases: http://goblinhall.com/2013/06/09/base-improvements-big-small/
And other post with the FAQ's that routinely pop up on using ConTact Paper and nylon washers in the dials: http://goblinhall.com/2013/06/09/protecting-the-dials/
