Getting more players exited

By Runforever, in Deathwatch Gamemasters

Hello everyone

I'm really new to the world of Roleplaying and I want to start a Deatchwatch group. Two friends of mine have already said that they woud be interessted to try it. But I think we need at least two more for a good experience. I know a couple of more guys that play 40k Tabletop and I would like to convince them to join our group. Finding players beside my friends is going to be hard because I live in Switzerland and the roleplaying community is very small (practiacly non existant sadly) Does anyone have a good idea how I can get them a bit more exited about the 40k world and ultimately get them to roleplay?

Thanks Runforever

Advertising in a local gaming store is a good way to bring new players into a group. Ask the owner if you can pin up an advertisement showing your interest in recruiting players.

I run two seperate Deathwatch groups. The first has between 4-6 players and the second between 2-6 players. The 2 player games are far easier to run for the GM as the larger groups can get bogged down in combat. With the smaller games you can really go to town with personal detail for each PC during the adventure too.

I think you should run your 1st game with just the 2 players then add in the Tabletop guys.
