A deck I have been tinkering with based on the three hunters from The Two Towers. The starting threat is really high so can someone help me to lower it? Aragorn will be main quester, with Gimli for defense and Legolas on the attack. Maybe Aragorn should defend? Should I add citidal plate or ring mail for Gimli?

This suggestion may make you rework the whole deck, but i would consider Aragorn Lore instead of core. He will help with the threat reduction. You can get burning brand on him maybe a gondorian shield for one extra def. If you want to have access to some of the other cards you have in the deck, use songs and master of the forge to find the important attachments your looking for. You can also get access to some more card draw and healing. Gimili can quest early and maybe take a few undefended to get his attack up, and then use him for a big attack every so often.

I still think the deck will struggle, maybe try it on easy mode. I hear it's designed to support these types of thematic types of decks.

I agree with Tracker1. It is going to be tough going with leadership Aragorn and I recommend the lore version. I suggest trying to abuse Gimli with song of mocking (fetched by minstrels) and citadel plating. That way you can attack with Gimli and Legolas and block with Aragorn. Seems like Sword that was broken is your main questing tool so you will need song of kings, but minstrels can fetch that, also throw in Faramir because he basically does the same thing. Then you can have a solid combat deck that still could quest. You absolutely must include hail of stones in any red deck with a lot of allies. It is pretty much the best card in LOTR. It doesn't seem like it, but trust me it is crazy good.

Oh, and hand on the bow is an absolute must in any Legolas deck.

I am working on the lore Aragorn version now. I don't have burning brand so what is suggested to take its place?

I would suggest using favor of the lady a two cost spirit attachment as a proxy for burning brand. There are some other cards in other spheres that can cancel shadow effects, but you will not be able to get access to them easily. Hasty stroke is a spirit event, dunadain watcher leadership ally are other options but tough for you to get in play.

here is a WIP revision with Loragorn subsituted for tactics Aragorn. I am stuck with where this should go. I am pretty sure this will never be anything more than an easy mode deck, but at least I can learn what the quests involve before trying tougher decks. Any help is appreciated. Thank you
