So the Game of Thrones community where I live is relatively small but we're still having regionals so I thought I'd join in, I don't expect to win but just playing is fun enough
Targaryen was my first faction and while my Martell deck is perhaps better I kinda wanted to take my first deck to my first regionals. The deck as gone through some changes since I started playing and I've been fortunate to get a lot of chapter packs since I could split them with a friend. He plays Stark, Lannister Grayjoy and I play the rest
I'm a control player at heart so ambush was easily my favorite mechanic when I started playing since I could play them depending on what I needed to do during the turn. That combined with burned eventually formed into this (after being a shadow deck for quite a while) and I'm pretty happy with it and I've had some success with it.
Knights of the Hollow Hill is a recent addition and so far it's gone well but I'm not sure if I should alter the deck further to better accomodate it.
Any advice you're willing to lend would be helpful.
I'm splashing Newly Made Lord because I couldn't find any target land removal that seemed useful in faction and from what I understand it I can bounce it in with Called to Court and I don't generally have that much stuff to spend gold on so it's affordable. Any substitutions are helpful.
