I apologize in advance if this has been answered or is very clear or not in the rulebook, but I just want to double check. When I use this faction card, Do I start with 5 cards in my hand or 6?

You start with 5 cards. Your starting hand size is distinct from your maximum hand size. Andromeda changes the former, while The World is Yours changes the latter.
