I was wandering what the species on the right is. Are these Noghri maybe?

Nope. Not a noghri, though I do hope we'll see them eventually. That creature is a Mantellian Savrip. It is the Dejarik piece that R2-D2 uses to smash Chewbacca's Kintan Strider. Mantellian Savrips are much more developed than other creatures, though they don't have the intelligence of species like Trandoshans, Rodians, Wookiees, and others. From what I know of this species, I'd expect a Mantellian Savrip unit to either have just the Creature trait, or maybe both Creature and Character .

After Saga Edition allowed for Mantellian Savrips to be a playable species, I'd expect Character to be a trait, too. As for Noghri, I'd been imagining them coming in an Imperial pod with Thrawn - Thrawn as the main chap, a Noghri assassin or two, possibly an event that reflects his tactical insight. The other card - and indeed, the objective itself - I have no ideas about. I'd also expect some more generic Noghri showing up in a neutral DS pod…

I think Thrawn should have his own set with 4 events/fate cards.

Thrawn has got to be a combo support pod - Tatical stuff, things that effect the edge battle - He seems like he will be alot like Lando

A cool ability for Thrawn would be that while he's committed to the Force, whoever's turn it is always wins the Force Struggle. So at the start of your turn during that Balance phase you would never have it.
