Probably already answered, but... (stupid question is stupid)

If I destroy a split foundation or asset with this ability, will I be able to add the split part to their staging area or I MUST add, say, if I were to destroy an asset, another asset?

When a split asset or foundation is added to a staging area, it is no longer considered to have the action or attack side. It is no longer considered action or attack, therefore when you destroy a split asset or foundation Looks that Kill only counts the foundation or asset side so you can only add that type of card to the staging area from the discard pile.

Stamp for DEFlores. Looks... will only see the part it destroyed, nothing else.

If I destroy a Kazekiri with this, can I add the attack side of, say, Clean Freak to my opponent's staging area with this?

no, kazekiri has 6 difficulty and clean freak has 3, you cant target it with the ability. but it could work on any attack with 6 or more difficulty im assuming

logic would say you could add any attack card to your staging area this way and it doesn't state that you can't rotate the card as you do so so I suspect you could even add the action side of seeking out to your staging area but I somehow doubt it. note that, as annihilation states that it is added as a foundation, looks would see a foundation for that.

as I have not actualy played this game in some time, I can only answer what logic would say.

Draco, Looks affects your opponent's staging area, and you have to add back a card that's the same type that you destroyed, and it has to be equal or HIGHER difficulty to the card you destroyed. So, currently, it'd be effectively impossible to add an action card to your opponent's staging area.

I knew it effected opponents stuff but forgot halfway through. the way it's worded, as far a logic goes, it checks the type of the first card while in play and the second while in the discard pile meaning there should be no reason why you can't rotated the card between then and play. it'll never work like that though...

Generally speaking, using Looks that Kill to replace Kazekiri with any other 6+ difficulty attack would be a good move.

The new attack, not being Kazekiri, wouldn't have any abilities that can be used from their staging area. (Attack R's are used from the card pool, and attack E's are used from the cardpool during that particular attack's enhanse step, unless the ability states otherwise.) Plus, it gets what is likely a finisher out of recur range, for the most part.

there IS a reason. once the card is attempted to be played, or enters the SA thru another means, it is ONLY the side it is played as. the other half is ignored. trying to fetch anything other than the card destroyed doesn't even enter the equation here.
