Wanted upgrades

So when people speculate about new content it's almost always about ships. Fair enough, they are the bread and butter of the game after all. But I think we need to start, openly and in a place were FFG can see us, discuss upgrade cards that should be included at some point. Some one's I'd like to see:

First I think we need a modification card, either 0 cost unique or 1 cost normal, that give an elite pilot slot. "Advanced training" or something for the title. If unique it would fall in line with the Slave-1 title card and if normal the one cost would make it balanced since it's effectivly increasing the cost of whatever you buy with that new upgrade slot.

An Elite card that allows you to shake a stress once a game would be nice, hardly game breaking but a good ace in the hole if priced correctly.

EMP missile or torp. One damage to the target, Ion token to everything inside of one range. Should be cheap overall, maybe 3?

Thoughts?

The elite pilot talent would have to be a ship upgrade, unique, unavailable to pilots with elite talents already, and cost two to be reasonable.

Your Ion assault missile should never, ever happen.

I think the EMP missile would have to cost more than a regular assault missile and therefore probably would not be that useful. An EMP bomb option might work.

Tractor beams would be interesting but really only an option for bigger ships.

A special ability that lets you take 2 medals would be crazy fun.

I also like the idea about a second medal slot, but agree that it would have to be a special ship upgrade prolly named fighter like "red 5" for luke.

How about an option to mount an ion turret on the YT-1300 but changinging primary weapon fire arc to front?

It would also be nice to see more piolts added to current ships…poor porkins got left out

Please no Ion Torpedo and definetely not for 3 points.

More Pilots please. I am cool for more of everything. More options means less predictable builds.

id like to see something like this that lets u give pilot skills ti pilots that normally dont get them. it would have to be pretty cheap and max one per ship but id love to have the ability to give some of the lesser pilots/ships pilot skills.

In the X-wing computer games, there was later added a Mag-Pulse missile. It didnt do any damage, but knocked out a target's sensors and weapons for a period of time. Its possible that FFG may use this as the inspiration for an EMP missile. I would say that it removes all target locks that starship has in effect and prevents them shooting during the combat phase.

In those same computer games, TIE Avengers had the option to mount a Beam Weapon, such as a Jammer or Tractor Beam. The Jammer beam prevents missile locks on your ship, in this game I could see that removing target locks as an action. The Tractor Beam would slow and enemy ship and keep him in your sights: in this game that could translate to expending target lock during the movement phase to select a manuever for the opponents ship. The tractor beam would be difficult to implement, perhaps you might say that it works like an Ion Cannon but does no damage.
