defender - Hammerer of Karak Azul




assign - 1 on HoKA, 1 on WP


apply - ??? How much damage tokens will be to each unit? Why?

Should read: “Redirect 1 damage assigned to this unit each turn to one target unit in any battlefield. (If there is no valid target, the damage is assigned to Warrior Priests.)”
Redirecting Damage (v1.2)
Some card effects allow for damage to be redirected from one target to another. Damage is always redirected after it is assigned but right before it is applied.
First situation: 1 damage to hammerer is cancelled by toughness and 1 damage to warrior priests is redirected to hammerer and is also cancelled.
Second: it will be the same. I assumed both units are in battlefields?
I might be wrong on this so it would be good if anyone could confirm?

Redirected damage not send in general "damage pool" durin assign phase ? And HoKA will cancel only 1 of 2 dm?
