Any players in or near Frederick MD?

By Christoph, in Android: Netrunner The Card Game

I live in Frederick but would be willing to travel as far as Baltimore (to the east), Hagerstown (to the west) or Rockville (to the south) and perhaps any city relatively close to the MD line in PA to get some games in. I'm curious if there are any others players in or around any of those cities?

As far as days go, if the games are in (or very close to) Frederick, then I can play pretty much any weeknight (other than Wednesday). If I would need to travel, then weekends are best as long as the games don't start in the late afternoon or early evening.

thnx,

Christoph

We have a pretty steady group of 20ish players (Baltimore City Grid) that play at Canton Games in Baltimore every thursday night. There's a mailing list that you can be added to to get updates on the local netrunner community, and our players sometimes use it to organize stuff outside of the store.

Yeah, I'm familiar with the group. My problem is the day. It would take me an hour to get there from Frederick and that's assuming no traffic. On a weeknight? It can be assured that there will be a lot of it so that means that the likelihood is that I wouldn't even get there until around 7p (or a little later). I'd be able to get in perhaps 1, maybe 2 games before I'd have to leave between 8:30p and 9p so I could make it home by 10p to get to sleep for an early rise. This is why I stated in my post that weeknights are good for me only if the group was close by. If you guys played on the weekend, I'd likely be there all the time. But alas.

I appreciate the response, though. If there are other players somewhere between Frederick and Baltimore, the title might catch their eye and they can learn about the group.

thnx,
Christoph
