Echo Base Shield Generator once per turn

By LukeZZ, in Star Wars: The Card Game

During your Deployment phase, you alternate 3 actions to put 3 shield tokens (on valid targets) using Echo Base Shield Generator and take this card back to your hand.

Then you use 1 action to play it again.

You alternate 3 new actions to put 3 shield tokens (on other valid targetes).

What happens now?

Can you go on placing other shield tokens on valid targets, since the card won't "jump back" into your hand?

The "Limit once per turn" restriction applies to the Action as a whole, not just the second sentence of the action. So you can only damage the Shield Generator once per turn to put a shield on a unit or Hoth objective.

The entire action is limited to once per turn, so you can't do that. Incidently, if you use it once and return it to your hand, you can then replay it and use it again because limit once per turn applies to each instance separately.

For future reference, there is a rules subforum for posting rules questions.

Ok, thanks for your help!
