It seemed like a pretty even mix of Houses, but not much Stark and more Bara than you'd expect. I don't have House count or restricted cards but heres what I know.
24 players, 4 games and cut to top 8:
1 GJ BS (undefeated 5 Rounds)
2 Targ HoD Dragonpit (won)
3 Martell TLV
4 ? Lanni City of Shadows (2nd overall)
5 ?
6 ? Lanni Tunnels
7 Lanni PBtT Castellan
8 GJ TLV?
Short tourney report from me, playing a Lanni PBtT control deck with a jumbed mess of shenanigans:
Round 1 - Rick Martell TLV
A pretty slow game and his deck proved resilient, I never had enough control to push for the win. He placed 3rd at the cut - TLV for the win.
0-1
Round 2 - Richard Lanni PBtT
He's not playing a standard PBtT build either, but I felt like I came out much better going into Round 2… even when he dropped 3 Pentoshi Manors. Art of Seduction kept him from getting his Valar in time and I got half my power from his PBtT and his Manors.
1-1
Round 3 - Tyler Martell Quentyn
We both had good Setup and Oberon's Guile is really annoying, especially with Vengeful guys. Nonetheless, House Divided kept Quentyn and Darkstar out of play and Seduction served me well again.
2-1
Round 4 - Sandy - GJ 1x Aeron
Playing to make the cut and this looked bad, by Round 2 he had out Iron Cliffs with a Fleet, Reader, Victarion and Asha. Once the Cliffs ran out, Valar everything (including my 6 guys, Fleet, Cersei and Castellan among them) and count on Lanni gold + draw for the win.
3-1
Cut to top 8, I placed 7th.
7th vs 2nd - Targ HoD Dragonpit
He locked my weenies down pretty quickly and burned the better guys out; didnt last long and I only had about 4 power at the end. He went on to win the whole thing, beating Lanni City of Shadows at the end, congrats!
We played some melees afterward, Sandy won that, then we all went home. Thanks to Epic Loot for hosting, and I gotta say they've got the best layout I've ever seen for a comic/gaming shop, I'm really impressed. If anyone else has more info please post it, hope to see everyone again soon!
