No Time for Grief : Insane

By Daenarys, in 2. AGoT Rules Discussion

This question im sure is a bity old school but i need to ask as the combo itself seems insane.

Red Viper is in play with locations providing 3 influence. I just played a melee game where i had to kill my Red Viper and subsequently i knelt 3 influence to play No Time For Grief.

I then searched my deck and put all sandsnakes into play AND duplicates.

Now whilst this provided great satisfaction it just seemed insanely powerful, am i missing anything ?

Likewise i assume there is no reason why i couldnt play Valor in the plot phase, kill Viper , kneel 3 influence and then bring into play all sand snakes and duplicates. Is this correct ?

If so WOW, I loveit

If not , why not and BOO

That works - it's exactly how that card is supposed to work.

You can also give them all Renown and then trigger Dorea's Response and win in a single phase. Its a total glass cannon, which is why it doesnt see much play, but when it works its a beautiful thing.

It is beautiful indeed.

Run no agenda… lose MIL, kill Viper, wipe board, No Use for Grief, trigger Dorea, trigger Maiden of Poisons (if anyone left), put out Riders of the Red Fork (in deck, so they are Sand Snake until they hit the board), Nest of Vipers, WIN!
