Just had a quick question on what is considered a "miss." Am I to understand that it is only a miss if you roll no hits whatsoever? Or would it be considered a miss if the defender rolls evasions to cancel out your hits, which, technically is a complete miss allowing one to use up the luke/gunner card to reroll? I'm inclined to go with the former scenario, but I can see an argument for the latter.

Once again, the rules for being "hit by an attack" are clearly defined on page 12 of the rulebook. In short, your second interpretation is the correct one.

Plus, neither card refers to a "miss," they say, "an attack that does not hit." Not much of a difference in terms of meaning, but it makes interpretation of the rules clearer.
