So very nice of you. Thanks a lot!

Yeah, thanks for the scans.

Anyways, have you noticed that Mirlonde has er treat cost in a dark blue colour, just like Hirluin has? I wonder whether is it intentional or not.

amazing art. thanks!

Wow some pretty great looking stuff there. Especially like "advance warning". Harbor master is kind of bland although

Thanks for the uploads, friend from the North! Good stuff, MVP in my opnion is Forlong, as his splendiforous mustache keeps the theme of Outlands characters having hair on their faces. I do agree that Harbor Master is really bland looking. But everything else looks really nice, though.

Cannot wait to get it!

Some great art there again for Mironde by magali villeneuve. Forlong is a bit drab though - what's going on with that horse's neck ?

I actually enjoy the "retro", water-colorish look of Harbor Master.

now that i have had a good look i think that the following are great:

mirlonde

silvan refugee

white tower watchman

mighty prowess

the following are good:

forlong

advanced warning

against the shadow

strength of arms (moved it from 'dont like' because at first i thought it too much like the film warriors, but i see enough of a difference there)

and i dont particularly like:

trained for war (really dont like that kids outfit)

harbour master

Really? What's so bad about it? Considering those kids are Boromir and Faramir they don't look that bad to me.

how do you know theyre boromir and faramir? i thought they were 2 random kids……as for the outfit, i m not sure. the younger ones looks out of place..and the kid's hair……just doesnt look right to me

Isn't it obvious? Two kids, one slightly older than the other, both "fair" and noble looking, playing in the royal courtyard of Gondor… If you see the full art you can even see Denethor under one of the arches watching over them. I think it's a pretty **** good illustration, one of my favorite Villeneuve ones actually.

i see- perhaps it is, but maybe not…..its still a little generic to say that for certain, unless the artists has said specifically, or there is some direct link between the card title (i cant really think there is…though they will have both of course had training for their status)

i had a look at a the higher res. image- it is actaully much better. my eyes can see the small card properly.

Who's Mirlonde?

Don't remember this one from the books.

She's an FFG created character…likely inspired by the small volume of female characters throughout the stories

I think it's Boromir and Faramir as well. In fact I would be surprised if they were someone else.

i think you're both probably right - though not to the point where its completely dumb-foundedly obvious….they could be someone of nobility with denethor's court.

It disapoints me that FFG has to make up ther own heros. There are so many in Lord of the Rings already.

I understand there want of more female heros but its not as important as keeping theme I think. I wish they

won't make up more characters it disapoints me.

agreed. as ive said before ive nothing in particular against ffg creating characters, but id rather see tolkien creation- ive never thought the lack of female heros needed addressing. whenever it is brought up i am keen to point out that lotr is what it is….for whatever reason tolkien created few female characters. its not sexist of me to just want the real things ;) …and anyways, tolkien's women make up for quantity in quality (galadriel/arwen/eowyn)

still, im not saying mirlonde was created for this purpose, and i do rather like her, ….though if we're talking female heros i prefer beravor…she is a better hero and in general a better creation

Agreed. We are here cose of Tolkien. I really love art of the new hero but we need Tolkien characters.

agreed to all. I also agree that the quality of Tolkiens female characters makes up for the quantity

I don't really mind the made up heroes as long as its not more than 1 per cycle.
