Anyway would anyone know where I could get a descent tomb of ice stealthe die from, or would someone be willing to give up or sell their stealth die?

Actually, there is still a 1E forum, it's just hidden in the General > Forum Archives section.

Barring any activity there, you might want to consider asking on BGG in the D1E forum there.
