In my continued quest for new builds, I kinda like this. Being able to target lock and pass it on and then having the ability to use an action on the action bar provided by Lando, both Dutch and the Rookie can Focus and target lock per round and Lando can focus and gunner.

Even when one goes down, the synergies still hold pretty well.

Not a bad idea, if you have the X-wing expansion consider removing Gunner and upgrading Rookie Pilot to Garvin Dreis. He gives the extra ability to grant a focus token to a nearby ship right after he spends one himself. (instead of discarding it).

I did look at Dreis, but his ability doesn't trigger soon enough to make it useful on Lando as he has a PS lower than Lando, so Lando will already have fired when Dreis donates a focus.

Gunner gives me the reroll at PS 9.

That's what swarm tactics is for!

I tried a list similair to this one…not bad…at least till you loose a ship…then there's the gap in abilities….

In this case, not so much.

If you lose Dutch, the X-Wing TL's and gets a focus from Lando

If you lose the X-wing, Dutch TL's and Lando gets a TL and Dutch gets a focus from Lando.

If you lose Lando, well, hopefully you've done plenty of damage by then. Otherwise the X-Wing still gets to TL and focus and Dutch TL's.

It's the most resilient synergy list I could find in rebels.

I have played the Dutch, Lando, Garven version of this, and obliterated a Firespray plus 4 Tie buils with it. It was pretty amazing.

Garven was the butcher in this build. He did 4 damage on the Firespray, then Dutch set him up two easy kills with the ion cannons. Lando was not even that important that game, he took a few hits and gave a few, but Garven did pretty much all the kills.

Oh yeah he had Dark Curse, he is pretty much the list's Kryptonite. No rerolls, period… When he was the only one left i finally got him but if he evades constantly this drives you crazy as you have a ton of tokens but can't use them!

I am looking forward to Kyle Katarn and the moldy crow upgrade, where we can play around with Focus tokens a lot more…
