what happens when you do a koiogran turn but before you can turn you overlap another ship
what happens when you do a koiogran turn but before you can turn you overlap another ship?
the rulebook says
If the active ship is executing a koiogran turn
maneuver that causes it to overlap another ship,
instead treat its maneuver as a straight maneuver with the
same speed and color revealed on the dial.
so foe example with a A-wing, all straight movements a green manuveres. but i chose to do a 4 koiogran turn ( red manuvre ) but my base overlaps a tie fighter. i move my a-wing back until its not hitting so does it mean i now do a 4 straight ( green manuvre ) and get no stress or does it mean i do a 4 straight manuvre but counting it as a red manuvre ?
What they're saying is you would instead treat the 4 K-turn (red) as a 4 Strait (red) and use the normal rules for overlapping. Speed (4) and color (red) remain the same, but you stop before reaching the end and turning around.

The rule you quoted there pretty much covers it.
"treat its maneuver as a straight maneuver with the same speed and color revealed on the dial."
Your dial was 4 koiogran turn ( red maneuver ) which changes to a straight 4 red.
Now, if you had a ship (currently only a YT1300) with the Nien Nun on the crew (You may treat all [straight] maneuvers as green maneuvers) , it would be changed to a green maneuver.
