In some fantastic news, it looks like FFG is running some WFRP 3e events at GenCon this year. Specifically, they have several tables of Shadows over Averheim, part 1 of the outstanding new The Enemy Within campaign. I highly encourage anyone interested in WFRP to sign up for these so we can show FFG that there is a community out there that enjoys WFRP 3e and wants to play!

Why would you pay $4 to play 4 hours of the start of a campaign that is an incredibly slow starter?
Yes I would and in fact I did by signing up for the 10 am on Saturday.
I think it may be a good chance for a GM to get in character and go to town on the roleplaying aspect. I've never had any trouble not giving away spoilers (as it's simply part of your training when you play slot zero's in the RPGA/ Pathfinder society).
What I find more fascinating is just what players are experiencing at the tables. My last convention experience was simply fantastic, but I couldn't keep my mouth shut trying to help the noobies trying to learn the game (and remember to use fortune points, maneuvers for assist and whatnot).
