Hey to all those Force users out there;

I would like to officially announce the inaugural Royal Oak Board games Star Wars LCG league, running for 4 weeks.

Where: The Ottawa Board Games Club. Royal Oak 188 Bank St. Ottawa (the one at the corner of Bank & Gloucester).

When: Beginning Monday June 3rd and every Monday night from 7:00- 11pm (we can be flexible on starting/ finishing times), concluding on Monday June 24th.

Cost: There is a usual $1 fee that the Board Games Club charges for each week that they run the club. It can be paid weekly, or compiled into one payment of $4.

PRIZES: Yes there are going to be some awesome prizes for those who enter, kindly donated by Jordan, from The Comic Book Shoppe on Banks St (I hear that they are from Fantasy Flight too)

Win= 5 points
Loss= 2 points
Miscellaneous:
playing against someone for the first time= 1 point
Winning against someone you lost to the last time you played them =1 point.
- Each player will need to construct three decks (more if they wish) of each side, this is to facilitate a fun league.

- I have constructed a system called Force Tokens. After a win with each side, to the same player, you gain a Force Token. IF you win five tokens, then you get extra points when you win your next game; beat someone with five Force Tokens and you gain a point. Basically this is to reward the really good players, but also those players who are able beat a strong competitor.

There are some finer details that will be available on the night (or if you e-mail me, I can get them to you).
