Sitting the Iron Throne - clarifications.

By loffenx, in 2. AGoT Rules Discussion

Apologies if these questions have been brought up before, but I could not find answers to all of them.

I am basically wondering if I have understood the mechanics of Sitting the Iron Throne correctly.

Small Council . ico_lannister.png only.Deathbound. Any Phase: Pay 1 gold to choose a character to claim 1 power. (Limit 3 times per round.) Dominance: If you won dominance this phase, pay 1 gold to return Sitting the Iron Throne from your dead pile to your hand.

Each time you play the event, you may spend 1 gold for 1 power (not 3-3). In dominance, you may recurse the event as many times as you like, and play it again, claiming up to 3 power. The limit of 3 times per round applies to all copies of the event, i.e. having mutiple copies of the event on hand will not enable you to claim more than 3 power.

So, if you win dominance, have the event in hand and 5 gold in your gold pool, you may spend it all to claim 3 power, and having multiple copies won't help you much that phase.

Correct with all parts, a very powerful card if gold is not an issue
