I've ordered 3 Bombers, 3 B-Wings, 2 Lamda, and 2 HWKs.

I live in Vancouver, BC, and I've ordered all of my ships locally from a couple of FLGS.

I'm weighing the pros and cons of ordering a third Lamda.

I will probably get 2 of anything, except if i see that 4 B-Wing or shuttle builds are very good, then i might take 4 of them. But i am very reluctant to get 4 shuttles, they take up so much space…

I pre-ordered 4 B-wings, 4 TIE Bombers, 2 HWK-290s and 1 Lambda. I will probably end up getting at least one more Lambda if they turn out to be as good as they appear. I still want to round out my current fleet though, and I need 2 more TIE Advanced, 1 more Y-wing, 1 more YT-1300 and 1 more Firespray to do so, so unless the Lambda is super good, the second will be on hold.

I've preordered:

2X Imperial Shuttle

2X HWK

3X B-Wing

3X TIE bomber

I try to stay loyal to my local game store, but it has not been able to keep any of wave two in stock and thus I am left with only one Intercepter and A-Wing. I won't make that mistake this time. I really can't see fielding more than three of either ship, but also having the extra cards and upgrades is a bonus.

Okay, I'd like a little advice to a fairly subjective question. Hmm, is that possible advice on a subjective question?

I don't play in tounements and it's not very likely I'm going to. I purchase the minatures so we can play at home with friends so we need a fair mixture of ships. We like to put together squads that are fun to play and this leads to good mixed squads. Only one big ship per side and preferably one big ship we game total. 100 point games are fun. Of couse more points is fine we just don't want the games to last 6 hours. Three short ones are fine/

We have two core with expansions for a total of:
4 - X Wings
2 - Y Wings
3 - A Wings
6 - Tie
2 - Tie Advance
4 - Tie Interceptor
1 - YT-1400
1 - Firespray.

Here are my questions:
A) Do we need 1 or 2 more Y Wings for a total or 3 or 4? Is two Y wings sufficent or for mixed squads or senerios should we have a couple more?
B) Do we need 1 more A Wing for a total or 4?
C) Do we really need 8 Tie Fighters for swarms or is 6 okay with a couple of support ships? We're thinking 6 is good but?

That's my question for through wave 2 unless you have other ideas?

Wave 3, here are my thougths:
B Wing - 2, 3 or 4? They're not out so…
Tie Bomber - 2, 3, or 4? Is 4 of basiclly a missile platform just over kill; if two to few?
Lambda Shuttle - 2. Not because I want to play big ships but senerios with disabled ones would need a couple.
Hawk - 3 for the same reason as shuttle.

We are looking for a reasonable collection for a balanced variety of squads.

Or is this just over kill?

One shuttle and two of each of the others. That is what I am looking at at this time.

After much budget heming and hawing, finally put my order in at the store tonight

1 flight of 4 B-Wings.

1 flight of 4 HWKs (I many get more of these later depending on how many I want to use as a boarding craft variant alongside regular HWKs).

6 TIE Bombers (1 flight of 4 Bombers, plus 2 to convert to boarding craft, may get more for conversion later).

2 Lambda Shuttles (those plus an F-Toys one on hand already should be plenty for big scenarios, allowing up to 3 Imperial players to have their own command support ship).

I already got the following pre-ordered at Miniature Market…just playing the waiting game now.
