I'm kind of curious, what's next planned for Descent? I'm looking forward to another expansion or a 'deluxe edition' or something.

The rumor mill is that there are currently two expansions in development. One is a base game expansion, similar to well of darkness, altar of despair, and tomb of ice. The other is a road to legend expansion which is tentatively titled "blood of <some name>."

"Road to Legend 2: Blood on the Trail" would be hilariously bad a....awesome.

Any idea on how long development will take? I jumped in last year and there seemed to be plenty of expansions with a quick release of another. Now its been almost half a year (1/3 of a year? not sure exact release date, only when my local store got ToI). Should I be holding my breath for a release soon?

History would suggest development would be at least 1 year. I would expect it to be longer than that myself. Of course we are not sure when they will actually start development, they could have started already or maybe they have not yet begun.
