Heres the situation...

Ryu againt Yun-Seong.

Both characters vitality is 10. Yun playes Birds of Prey and has 15momentum which he uses to enhance with powerful 2. So that makes the damage 45.

Ryu decides not to block and plays Consumed.

Yun decks out and Ryu doesnt. So does the game end there, if not ryu and yun both go below 0 vitality.

Consumed's R resolves at the time you play Consumed, and the static effect doesn't trigger until you've cleared it from your pool at the end of the turn, Yun is decked, game over.

when you play consumed, it resolves.

yun seong runs out of cards in his deck. game stops here and says yun seong loses, no vitality loss because the game doesnt care what happens once yun seong runs out of cards

Um... your math is a little off. 15 momentum, spent on a Bird Of Prey (assuming no other buffs or enhances) will yeild a final damage of 40, not 45.

Note also that you both draw at the same time, so if both players decked it would be a tie (or possibly double loss). And drawing 40 (or worse, 45 cards) is very likely to deck both players, unless someone has an excessivly large deck.
