Anyone Know Where I Can Get My Hands on More Tannhauser Dice?

By LeBlanc13, in Tannhauser

I love the dice that come in the game. Playing other RPG's that use 10-siders, I'd really like to get my hands on percentile versions of these dice or even just an extra set.

Anyone seen these styles of dice outside of the boxed set?

It's a bit steeply priced to buy another box for more dice alone.

The first thing I did was buy 2 sets of different color 10-siders at the local game shop. This is a common dice type.

I was talking about the specific style of dice. The numbers on the Tannhauser dice look like old 50's style military spray painted numbers with gaps at key points and such.

Sorry, I should have been more clear.

I've got d10's up the wah-zoo from other RPGs I've played. :)

I have to agree with Doc on this one. I bought a set of similar Blue d10's for the Union player and plan to buy Red d10's for the Matriarchy player . In that way the players may roll at the same time. No fuss, no muss, no faulty memory issues after the roll!

If you are really that obsessed over the numbers having a stenciled military look you could always take a sharpie of the same color as the die and block out the white numbers in the correct areas ...

Great idea Malachi! Was wondering what to do cause I intened on buying additional black and few blue dice (for the Union). Sometimes you get to roll 7 or 8 dice and that makes occasions to "forget" what you just rolled....

Gonna try that on out.

I bought 10 of each color...

Having asked about replacing all of the dice in a used game I bought that didn't have them, Doc and others suggested two sets of die for each side. So, I went on line - my nearest game shop is over an hour away - one way - and found g2ch as a seller on ebay - got a great set of black with red letters for the Reich; and Blue with white letters for the Union. They arrived three days after payment was received and my son says, ok now can we figure it out dad -- he's seven. Unfortunately, the seven year old has to wait till dad is back from two days of travel before we unpack the game again...May be over his head, but hey, he's interested, it involved numbers so it HAS TO COUNT AS MATH RIGHT??? hhehheh

And strategic planning of your actions will be a great way to exercise his logical thinking, getting to knwo consequences and learn something about hazard (I mean some kind of statistic).

Getting back to the main topic anyone tried to make their own dice? Like buying dice with painted number (not carved and then painted), washed (stripped) the original numbers and replaced them with some kind of your own "font" ?
