When the card Fear is played on a unit that IS ALREADY COMMITTED the Force, is it correct that the Force card still stays on the unit?
I expect it to be a tactic that enables the Dark Side player to put the card Fear on some one say Luke and therefore kind of reduce the number of Force cards at the disposal of the Light side player.

No, Luke will lose the force card. This was clarified by the devs earlier. Basically the Force Card is not really a card as far as the game is concerned; it's a marker that keeps track of whether a unit is committed. Since Fear un-commits someone, that marker needs to be removed.
