Um, I've so far bought four, though have only kept the player cards from three to make 3x of everything. Not that I then put 3x Unexpected Courage into my deck of the day - I actually bought four so I could have all of the core set and Mirkwood scenarios set up at the same time (because I'm lazy). I still need a fifth to have Dol Guldur set up, though as I find that too difficult I never play it, so the 'need' for that fifth is debatable to say the least.

Hmm.. I think guite opposite.. the game store owns my home and I allso feed their families and other relatives with my game orders :-)

I have two. My intention was always to enjoy the coop version of this game, and although I haven't been able to much lately, I knew I wanted the extra cards on hand when needed…

I have just the one core set. I did consider buying a second at one point but decided that it wasn't worth it just for a handful of extra cards and a load of extras.

Two core sets.

I only recently bought the second one after catching up with all the expansions available up to that point (NIghtmare packs excepted). Prior to that I proxied 2nd/3rd copies of cards where I wanted them for decks - and I still do so for a 3rd copy of Unexpected Courage.

I bought 5, I own 3.
